Oh, the life of a farmer 😅
Sometimes, baby season doesn't align with your weekly Thursday posts
Hiya, farm friend 👋🏼
This one’s going to be SUPER short & sweet because #babies!
Cookie had quads (4 girls!) Tuesday night and already today we had a set of twin lambs from Hana, and I’ve got a close eye on both Daisy and Penelope to be dropping more even today!
All that to say… thank you for reading this today and every week.
Even just a short update under 200 words about the slight chaos that has been the past couple of days.
Because the next few days will be 10x as crazy, and you know what - I just can’t bring myself to write any more than just this.
WE APPRECIATE YOU SO MUCH.
Thank you for supporting the farm and choosing to keep in touch via this newsletter.
It really means so much to both Jeff and I and we love hearing back from you about how much you enjoy reading it and hearing about the animals.
That’s literally it for today.
You are sweet sonshine ☀️ to us all at Penner Mini Farms!
Stay tuned for some Baby Watch updates (hopefully soon?!) as we take somewhat of a week off our regularly scheduled newsletters.
Talk soon.
❤️
WAIT!!! BEFORE YOU GO…
🐐 BABY WATCH 🐐
Make sure you’re signed up for the Penner Mini Scoop: Baby Watch!
Click here to review your account settings to make sure you’re subscribed to the Baby Watch letters so you’ll receive emails as the babies arrive all year long, or simply check it out here :)
🥰 SUPPORT THE FARM 🥰
If you’d like to support our farm, here are a few ways to do that:
Try some Goat Milk Soaps (your skin will thank you!)
Join the Goat Milk Waitlist so we can let you know when it’s ready!
Pre-order a custom built hay feeder (for miniature legs)
Rent a registered Nigerian Dwarf buck with our Buck Lease Service
Any profits made go directly back into the farm to cover vet bills, purchasing whole oats & alfalfa for our mommas, updating fencing & shelters, etc.
We would not be able to do what we do without the support of our local community and farm fans everywhere, so we are so very blessed to have your support!
🙏🏼 PENNER MINI FARMS PRAYER PARTNERS 🙏🏼
Every day we try to pray over ourselves and the farm.
We ask God to “give us clean air to breathe, clean water to drink, and clean food to eat”; for the animals and for ourselves. We humbly invite you to partner with us in prayer for the farm, as well as for your own families!
We’d love to hear how we can specifically be praying for your family as well; please do us the honor of letting us know how we can pray for you!
Congratulations! 4, that's crazy! We have two does due soon, not sure when, and two ewes due in May, exciting and anxious times. This is all over on our very small farm site (Tropical Food Garden dot com) which has recently acquired it's first 50 followers - exciting! So I'm setting up email updates on that one today. Would love to have you along! We've got 20 baby guinea fowl making a racket at the moment too and Presley the peacock has moved to his new aviary. These are autumn babies, not spring, here in the southern hemisphere.
